An intimate coastal Elopement editorial on the Jurassic Coast
Following this year's extraordinary events we wanted to create inspiration for the many couples now planning luxury intimate weddings and elopements and as soon as we got back on the water on our dear friends boat we knew that we had the perfect location. The lovely Justin and Melissa (of Melissa Rose Design and Rodeo to name a few of their endeavours) restored their beautiful mid-century fishing boat, Buccaneer, to an incredible standard, with everything you would need for a beautiful wedding celebration on the water.
Growing up and living by the coast gives you a unique perspective and it really is hard to break away from, thus when looking at UK based elopements we all saw the potential to bring them to our area and the water - so we have worked to develop a collaborative offering under the name ‘Embark’, providing unique wedding experiences for adventurous couples - more details coming soon!
For this editorial we chose a beautiful real couple, Marc and Andressa, gorgeous dresses from the ever brilliant Halfpenny London and tailoring from the Berkshire based Black Tie Menswear (the hire department of the wonderful tailors Healy & Son). The lovely Caroline and Elke from Amazing Face kindly fitted our shoot into their diaries at very short notice and created this beautiful and elegant bridal look. Ashley from Ashley Wild Bridal lent us so many of her incredible accessories including a few exclusive items. Melissa added all the styling touches and with Justin as our captain we explored Poole Harbour, capturing these beautiful photos as we went.
